DizHub.com F.A.Q.

Q: There are already sites out there that help guests plan events and gatherings. What differentiates you from sites like them?

A: Other sites do indeed help guests plan experiences and events, with
varying degrees of success. Some sites are full-service leave-the-worry-to-us sites, and others tend more toward trip planning help, tips and information.

DizHub.com is a different breed of beast, one that we haven't seen before.

DizHub.com is a meta provider, meaning that we focus our efforts on
seamless top-level partnerships with Disney-related site owners who
wish to use our talents and contacts on a temporary or ongoing basis
to help promote and grow their site's popularity, traffic and
membership. We do this by providing exclusive, site-relevant offers,
experiences and contests that site owners can "brand" as their own,
while leaving the behind-the-scenes efforts to us.

We don't see DizHub.com as competition to any other site—we see DizHub
as a potential partner to all of them.

Q: How did you get started?

A: Several years ago, Chef Mayhem, webmaster of DoomBuggies.com, realized
he needed help maintaining the membership of the DoomBuggies forums.
He hired a staff, and after a year or so two of the staff members
moved into what became the Promotions department, responsible for
events in conjunction with Disney. Shortly thereafter, with
DoomBuggies.com Promotions in high gear, two more staff members were
added to the promotions team. The team proved to be very effective and
very good at their job…so good, in fact, that Chef Mayhem suggested
the idea that Promotions be spun off as its own entity to the benefit
of the entire Disney fan community rather than being confined to only
one or two sites. Thus was born DizHub.com.

Q: What sort of things have you done in the past?

A: A partial list of achievements during our tenure at DoomBuggies.com:

We planned and executed a week-long DoomBuggies.com convention at Walt
Disney World in October 2003, beginning with an exclusive kickoff
night party attended by over 400 members. What followed was a full
week of events and gatherings, including a private photo op for 50
members on the film's ballroom set at the Disney Studios.

DoomBuggies members were the first outside the Walt Disney Company to
view finished footage from the film "The Haunted Mansion." They were
also given the chance to enter a contest to win props used during the
filming, and four people were allowed to tour the sets during
production and meet the producer, director and costume designer.

We also provided members throughout the US and Canada with free
tickets to see the finished film the day BEFORE its red carpet world
premiere gala as well as a chance to win autographed posters and
copies of the film on either VHS or DVD.

The promotions staff was in part responsible for growing the forum
membership from 200 members to nearly 2500 through creative,
appropriately-themed contests.

In the fall of 2004, the promotions staff was responsible for a
charity auction which raised enough money to send a needy family to
Disneyland's 50th birthday celebration in the summer of 2005.

Various other activities, including T-shirt sales and DoomBuggies
themed pin sales, were handled by the promotions team.

Q: What can you do for MY site?

A: We can help your site by acting as a liaison for your group and Disney
to provide special, one of a kind experiences that will make your site
shine and your members and visitors feel like they went places no one
else has gone. We can also help set up tours for your members for
things they may not have even known exist at the Disney Parks.

Contact us and let's discuss it. All you need to do is tell us a
little about the overall theme or focus of your site and what your
goal is. We can then talk about what kind of activities or promotions
might be of interest that could help you reach that goal.

Q: I've never been to a Disney park before. Can you help plan my family's
vacation/reunion/weekend trip?

A: We could, but there are already many sites out there focusing on
small-group gatherings and trips. We are not travel agents or trip
planners and don't pretend to be, although if you really just want to
throw money at us, feel free. Be warned, however, that you'll get more
for your dollar if you work through one of the existing individual
trip planning sites.
